Funeral services for Mrs. Wanda Jean Pruitt Williams will be held Thursday, August 23, 2012  at 2:00 p.m. at Dansby Heritage Chapel with burial to follow in  Piedmont Memory Gardens. Visitation will be held Wednesday, August 22 from 6-8 PM at Dansby Heritage Chapel.                                    Mrs. Williams, 74, of Piedmont passed away on Sunday, August 19 at Jacksonville Medical Center. Born in Cleburne Co. to W. A. and Glenn              Burchfield Pruitt, she was a devoted wife, mother, school teacher and assistant postmaster. She was preceded in death by her parents and sister,Gwendolyn.                                                                                                                                                                                                                            She is survived by husband, Leland Williams; two sons: Scott (Cindy) Williams and Todd (Michelle) Williams; brother: Jimmie (Pat) Pruitt;                       sister: Janice (Carl) Morton; 7 grandchidlren: Christina Williams, Jennifer Byrd, Melanie Sanders, Nicholas Williams, Megan Reynolds, Tim                      Williams, and Evonne Hulsey; and five great grandchildren: Daniel Byrd, Hannah Sanders, Matthew Byrd, Patrick Sanders, and Easton Reynolds.                                                                                                                                                                                                                                         The family requests memorials be made to the Piedmont Rescue Squad.                                                                                                                                                                                                                                   Dansby Heritage Chapel is honored to serve the Williams Family.
