Leisa Trotter

March 16, 1965 — September 12, 2021

LEISA KAYE TROTTER, 56, passed away suddenly on Sunday, September 12, 2021 at her residence. The Piedmont native was born to Clyde Buttram and Fannie Faye Roberts. After Mr. Buttram passed away, she was raised by her mom and husband, JT Kirk, who treated her as his own.  She was a member of Philadelphia Baptist Church and had been employed by American Fire Wear as the purchasing agent and inventory control. She was married to the love of her life, Johnny Eldon Trotter, who preceded her in death.                                                                                           Survivors include one daughter: Morgan Hill and husband, James Tyler Hill; grandchildren: Jameson, Logan, Riley, and Emma Hill; nephew:  James Trotter; brothers: Jesse, Michael Paul, and Marty; and sister: Mary.                                                                                                                      Visitation will be Wednesday, September, 15, 2021 at Dansby Heritage Chapel from 5-6 PM. The service will follow at 6:00 PM. As per her request, she will be cremated.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests memorials be made to Dansby Heritage Chapel to help with the funeral expenses .

Dansby Heritage Chapel is honored to serve the Trotter Family.
