Obituary

Ms Devonia Gladys Welsh, 94, of the Rock Run Community, passed away on Wednesday, March 30, 2022 at her niece's residence in Harvest, AL. Born in Rock Run to Clyde Leonard and Janie Franklin Mitchell Goss, she was employed with SCT Cotton Mill in Piedmont and a member of Union Grove Methodist Church. She was  preceded in death by her parents and her husband, Marion Welsh.                                                                    Survivors include her three sisters:  Betty Hines, Syble Voudrian, both of Weaver, and Mary Newberry of Pensacola, FL.; several nieces and nephews.                                                                                                                                                                                                                          Funeral arrangements are as follows:  Visitation Sunday, April 3, 2022 from 1- 3 PM at Dansby Heritage Chapel with the service to follow at 3:00 PM. Rev. Corey Railey and Rev. Kyle Bryan will officiate. Burial will follow in Union Grove Cemetery.  Pallbearers will be Gary Newberry, Sonny Newberry, Shane Bostick, Tim Porter, Mike Welsh and Mark Welsh.                                                                                                                                             .                                                                                                                                                                                                                                               Dansby Heritage Chapel is honored to serve the Welsh Family.
