BERTHA ELIZABETH DUNCAN CROOK, 97, a resident of Piedmont, passed away peacefully on Wednesday, December 30, 2020 at Piedmont Health Care. She is now safe in the loving arms of God and reunited with loved ones. She was born in Jacksonville to Walter and Lula Naugher Duncan and was married to the late Robert L. Crook, all of whom have preceded her in death. She retired from Standard Coosa Thatcher. She was a member of Piedmont Church of God where she was active in events of the church, serving as Sunday School Teacher for many years. She is survived by her son: Robert Lynn Crook; daughters: Patricia Maddox, Bobbie (Patrick) Haba, Anita (Lonnie) Rushing; 7 grandchildren and 14 great grandchildren. She was a loving, devoted Mother to her children. Private graveside services were held from Piedmont Memory Garden. The family would like to thank the nurses and staff of Piedmont Health Care Center for her care, Dr. Ulrich, and Amedisys Hospice.
