Willie Mae Williams, 88, of Piedmont, passed away on Monday, July 21, 2025, at her residence. She was one of six children born to Leonard Edward and Callie Eugene Mitchell Kiser, in Cherokee County, Alabama.

Mrs. Williams was preceded in death by her parents; her husband: L.J. Williams; son: Rickey Williams; and siblings: Leonard Kiser, Oliver Kiser, Ollie Kiser, Pansy Scott, and Novella Voiles.

She is survived by her grandsons: Aaron (Jayna) Williams, and Ethan Williams; and great grandchildren: Sullivan Williams, Dagen Williams and Lexie Williams; daughter in law: Anita Williams; niece: Frances Vaughn; and nephews: Randy Voiles, Derek Kiser, and Brent Kiser.

Mrs. Williams and her husband, owned Ladiga Sportswear, since 1979. She was one of the hardest working women I have ever met. She worked seven days a week for 46 years as a seamstress at Ladiga Sportswear. Her favorite pastime was going to Flea Markets.

Private graveside services will be held from Gnatville Cemetery with Rev. Brent Kiser officiating. Pallbearers will be Aaron Williams, Ethan Williams, Brent Kiser, Derek Kiser, Greg Donaldson, and Randy Voiles.

Dansby Heritage Chapel is honored to serve the Williams Family.
