Willard Ray Cummings, Sr., 72, of Spring Garden, passed away peacefully on Sunday, November 17, 2013 at his residence. Born in Louisville, KY, to James Oscar and Eva Frances Timberman Cummings, he was a heating and cooling technician. He was preceded in death by his parents; a daughter: Eva; 2 sisters: Victoria Jean Turner and Vivian Marie Turbeville.
Survivors include his wife: Marie B. Cummings; 6 sons: Michael Sean Cummings, William Oscar Cummings, Michael Wayne Snow, Steven Edward Cummings, Willard Ray Cummings, Jr., and Matthew Lee Cummings; daughter: Angela (Shawn) Miller; brother James Michael Cummings; sister: Valerie Louise Schneble; 18 grandchildren; and 9 great grandchildren.
Graveside services will be held Saturday, November 23 at 11:30 a.m. from the Pleasant Gap Cemetery off County Road 177 in Spring Garden, AL. Visitation will be on Saturday from 10-11 a.m. at Dansby Heritage Chapel.
