Wanda Sue Livingston, a vibrant spirit and cherished soul, passed away on May 10, 2025, leaving behind a legacy woven with love, laughter, and immeasurable joy. Born on October 22, 1951, in Jacksonville, Alabama, Wanda was known for her radiant personality and her profound ability to bring smiles to the faces of those she encountered. An extrovert at heart, she had an incredible gift for conversation and spent many of her days surrounded by her loved ones, always with her phone in hand, reaching out to connect and uplift those around her.
She is survived by her husband Dana Ray Livingston Sr.; beloved children: Dana Ray Livingston Jr. (Angela), Steven Earl Livingston (Kimberly), and Quanda McGill (Greg); sister: Carol Coogler; grandchildren: Sasha Prough (Dakota), Chelsea Parris (Eric), Forrest Livingston (Kayleigh), Tristan Yates (Rovelyn), Steven Livingston Jr. (Jessica), Hunter Livingston (Chloe), Hannah, Gus, Ramona, Joseph, Benny and Frankie Estrada; and many great grandchildren whose lives she enriched with her warmth and kindness.
Wanda's life was a tapestry of memories, all lovingly crafted through her interactions with family and friends. She was never one to shy away from conversation and was always eager to share a laugh or a heartfelt moment. Her ability to make others smile was unparalleled.
She is preceded by her parents: Steve and Myrtle Harrelson; brothers: Bobby Lee Harrelson, Steve Harrelson, James Harrelson, John Henry Harrelson, and Thomas Red Harrelson, along with her brother-in-laws: Bobby Coogler and Joe Livingston
Services will be held Tuesday, May 13, 2025. Visitation will be at Dansby Heritage Chapel in Piedmont, Alabama, from 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM, followed by a funeral service at 12:00 PM, officiated by Rev. Michael Yates.
Pallbearers will be: Forrest Livingston, Tristan Yates, Hunter Livingston, Steven Livingston Jr., Eric Parris, and Dakota Prough
