Virgil Duke

Mr. Virgil Franklin Duke, age 80, of Piedmont, Alabama, formerly of LaGrange, passed away on March 29, 2017 at his residence.  Mr. Duke was born on August 29, 1936 in Harris County to the late Marshall Johnson Willburn Duke and Ida Victoria Orrick Duke.  Graveside services will be held on Saturday, April 1, 2017 at 12:00 pm (EST) at the Restlawn Memory Gardens with Dr. Larry Stegall officiating.  Survivors include his wife, Terrissa Barron Duke of Piedmont, Alabama; sons, Timmy Floyd Duke (Brenda) of Manchester; daughters, Tina Duke Mahaffey (Jimmy) of Zebulon and Patricia Duke of LaGrange; stepson, Marcus Terrell of Lawrenceville; brother, John Duke of Blairsville; grandchildren, Shaun Duke, Justin, Morgan, and Caylie Mahaffey; step grandchildren, Rick and Ray Hunter; extended family and friends.  Mr. Duke proudly served his country in the United States Army and retired from Highland Marina in LaGrange.
