Funeral services for Ms Shirley Jenkins Cockrell, 76, who passed away on Wednesday, June 20, 2018 at her Vigo residence, will be Saturday, June 23 at 11:00 am. from Dansby Heritage Chapel with visitation from 10 - 11 am. She will be cremated and her cremains interred in Monger Cemetery at the foot of her infant son.
She was preceded in death by her parents: Jessie Harvey and Rubie Myrtle Parris Jenkins; husband: L.L. Cockrell; infant son: Noah Ray Cockrell; and brother: James Jenkins.
She is survived by two sisters: Jewel Bright of Vigo and Joyce (Dennis) Bateman of Melbourne, FL; and brother: Horace Jenkins of Jacksonville; many nieces, nephews and friends.
Dansby Heritage Chapel is honored to serve the family of Ms Cockrell.
