Ronald Cromer

Ronald Cromer, 78, a lifelong resident of Calhoun County, AL, passed away on Tuesday, May 13, 2025 at his residence. Born in Anniston to Elbert Cecil and Flora Viola Humphrey Cromer, Sr., he was a machinist for the Calhoun County Road Department.

He was preceded in death by his parents; his wife, Barbara; and sister: Nancy Fay Jones.

He is survived by his son: Mason (Kimberly Michelle) Cromer; daughters: Felicia Meraz, Cassie (Nicky) Odell, and Katresa (Derrick) Phillips; brother, Jerry Lynn Cromer; sisters: Peggy Ann (Wayne) Eden and Sandra Sue (Bill) Stalnaker; 16 grandchildren and 12 great grandchildren.

Funeral Services will be held Saturday, May 17, 2025 at 11:00 a.m. from Dansby Heritage Chapel with visitation from 10:00 a.m. until funeral time. Rev.Jason Magee will officiate. Burial will follow in Nances Creek Cemetery. Pallbearers will be Derrick Phillips, Matthew Odell, Noah Odell, Nicholas Odell, Caleb Cromer, and Dakota Doss. Honorary Pallbearers will be Nicky Odell, Sawyer Odell, Hunter Smith, Ryker Wade, Trenton Roszell, Hudson Roszell, and Nixon Roszell,.
