Rhonda Jan Walker

Rhonda Jan Walker, 66, of Piedmont, passed away peacefully at Noland Hospital- RMC on Wednesday, January 31, 2020.  She was preceded in death by her father and step-mother, Thomas Harold and Brenda McGinnis; and her devoted husband, John Edward Walker.

She was employed at Federal Mogal for 25 years as an order processor, where she was loved by everyone.  Her vibrant smile was an inspiration to those around her. Everyone knew she loved her grandkids and could talk about them for hours.

She is survived by her son: Michael (Kaley) Walker; three sisters: Sheila Morgan (Brent), Ann Waldrop (Robert), and Felicia Denton; granddaughters:  Courtney and Marley Walker; and her bonus grandchildren: Ethan, Trevin, and Ali; and one bonus great grandchild: Mayleigh.

As per her request, she will be cremated. Memorial service will be held at Dansby Heritage Chapel on Wednesday, February 7, 2024 at 7:00pm. Visitation will be from 6:00pm - 7:00pm.
