Norris Smart

Funeral Services for Mr. Norris Lee Smart, 76, of Piedmont, will be held Wednesday, June 4, 2014 at 2:00 p.m. from Dansby Heritage Chapel with Rev. Garry Brown officiating.  Visitation will be from 12- 2 p.m.  Burial will follow in Union Grove Cemetery – Rock Run. The Family requests, in lieu of flowers, memorials be made to Piedmont Rescue Squad, PO Box 333, Piedmont, AL 36272.                                                                                                                                  Mr. Smart passed away Monday, June 2 at Gadsden Regional Medical Center.  A lifelong Calhoun County resident, he retired from Goodyear and was a member of Faith Baptist Church. He is survived by his wife : Nilmarg Russell Smart; son: Keith Smart; daughters: Evelyn (Tracey) Young and Lisa (Jeff) Grubb; brother: Clark Smart; sister: Sara Wheeler Smith; 5 grandchildren: Katherine Rodriguez, Morgan Simmons, Samantha Jenkins, Sadie Smart, and Jake Grubb; and 6 great grandchildren: Kyle Naugher, Rylie Hermance, Dalton, E.J., Bayleigh, and Ashton Simmons.    Dansby Heritage Chapel is honored to serve the Smart Family.
