Mary Lucy Hunt, 74, died January 4, 2017. Funeral Services will be held Sunday, January 8, 2017 at Dansby Heritage Chapel at 2:00 PM. The family will receive friends from 12- 2:00 PM on Sunday.
Rev. Philip Smith will officiate. Burial will be in Piedmont Memory Garden on Monday, January 9, 2017 at 11:00 a.m. with Travis Smith, Larry Smith, Elvin Smith, Foster Smith, Lonnie Hunt and Danny Hunt serving as pallbearers.
Survivors include her husband of 44 years, Carl Hunt; daughter: Beth Hunt; and sister Joann (Bill) Stockton.
She was preceded in death by her parents: Rufus and Mary Ella Gilmer; and three brothers: Kenneth Ralph and George Gilmer. She retired from American Apparel (Centre Manufacturing) after 42 years.
