Mark Fortenberry

MARK JAMES FORTENBERRY, 55, of Piedmont, passed away peacefully on Wednesday, February 19, 2020 at his son’s residence.  He was a metal fabricator in Tennessee.  Born in Cartersville, GA, he was one of four sons born to Troy Johnson and Mavis Lucille Leonard Fortenberry.  He was preceded in death by his parents; one son: Nick Fortenberry; and one brother, Johnson Fortenberry.  Survivors include his wife: Stephanie Stiles Fortenberry; son: Steven (Amanda) Fortenberry; daughter: Shaina Diane Fortenberry;  step children: Samantha, Mackenzie, Zackary, and Jeffrey Davis;  mother of his children: Pearl (Ron) Taylor; chosen son: George (Taylor) Flowers; grandchildren: Lacalee Elizabeth Spicer, Dakota Adkinson, Kaylee, Jordan, Charles, and Mackenzie Smick, Owen, Evan and Little  George Flowers,  Koltyn Kilgore and Addyson Ariella Meeks; and two brothers: Sam Fortenberry and Lon Fortenberry.                                                                                                                                                                  Dansby Heritage Chapel is honored to serve the Fortenberry Family.
