MAGGIE RAPES SCOGGINS
Graveside services for Maggie R. Scoggins will be Sunday, Sept. 7, 2014 at 2:30 pm (EST) from Greenwood Cemetery in Atlanta. Mrs. Scoggins, 92, passed away Friday, Sept. 5 in Jacksonville, AL She was the last of 12 children born to Lester and Lonnie Williams Rapes in Red Oak, GA. Survivors include her son: Doug (Elizabeth) Scoggins; two daughters: Pat Tanner and Sheila (Wendell) McClurg; grandchildren: Bryan & Dennis Scoggins, Shelby Couch, Henry & Grover Tanner, and Michael Allen Jordan; great grandchildren: Douglas & Michael Couch, Maggie Scoggins, Abbey & Caleb Jordan, Autumn Couch, Austin & Nolan Scoggins; and one great, great grandchild: Ryker Couch; numerous nieces and nephews; and one special niece: Ruth Trippe; She was preceded in death by her parents; husband: S.E. Scoggins, Jr.; 11 siblings; granddaughters: Regina Tanner and Donna Folds; great granddaughter: Rebecca Couch; and daughter in law: Janice Scoggins.
