Luther Brown

Luther Allison Brown, 78, of Piedmont, passed away on Monday, March 21, 2022 at Riverview Regional Medical Center in Gadsden after a brief illness.  Born in Douglasville, GA, he was the son of Robert Lee and Nellie Mae Hitchcock Brown. For 18 years he was a landscaper at Six Flags Over Georgia.  He was a member of Piedmont Congregational Holiness Church.

He is survived by his son: David Wayne Brown; daughters: Sharon Diane (Newton) Bowden, Susan Ann Brown, and Margarette “Maggie” (fiance’, George Tilley) Garner; 9 grandchildren and 8 great grandchildren.

Visitation will be held on Friday, March 25 from 1-3 PM from Dansby Heritage Chapel with the funeral service to follow at 3:00 p.m. Rev. Hayward Clarke will officiate and burial will follow in Goshen Cemetery.
