Laura Counts

LAURA ABI COUNTS, 85, of Piedmont, went home to be with her Lord and Savior on Saturday, April 08, 2017 at her residence. She was a homemaker and of the Presbyterian Faith.  She was preceded in death by her parents: Peter and Ella Sanders Edwards; brother: Wyatt Edwards; sisters: Ibis Freeman, Jencie Edwards, and Ilean Williams. She is survived by husband of 52 years, Fulton Bryan Counts, Jr; children:  Brenda (Derrick) Kiser, and Bryan (Tammy) Counts, III; grandchildren: Brandon Reynolds, Brittani (Michael) Studdard, and Drake Counts; great grandchildren: Ethan and Kylie Studdard; a host of nieces, nephews, and great nieces and nephews. Funeral Services will be held on Monday, April 10, 2017 at 2:00 PM from Dansby Heritage Chapel with Rev. Garry Brown officiating with visitation from 12- 2 PM.  Burial will follow in Piedmont Memory Garden.  Pallbearers will be Drake Counts, Brandon Reynolds, Michael Studdard, and Derrick Kiser.   Mrs. Counts was a faithful Wife, Mother, Grandmother, and Great Grandmother.  She loved her flowers, gardening, and quilting, but most of all, she devoted her life to her family. Dansby Heritage Chapel is honored to serve the Counts Family.
