Funeral Services for Mr. J.T. Kirk, 80, of Piedmont will be Wednesday, June 25, 2014 at 11:00 a.m. from Dansby Heritage Chapel with burial to follow in Piedmont Memory Garden. Visitation will be from 6-8 p.m. Tuesday, June 24 at the funeral home.
Mr. Kirk passed away on Monday, June 23, 2014 at Gadsden Regional Medical Center. Born in Cherokee Co. to Lee and Bessie Crook Kirk, he was a truck driver and worked in construction. He was preceded in death by his parents; wife: Fannie Faye Kirk; brothers: Louis, Franklin, Bill, Alton and Gene; and sister: Annie Mae Rutherford.
Survivors include his daughter: Leisa Trotter and husband, Johnny; granddaughter: Morgan Hill and husband, Tyler; great grandson: Jameson Hill; brother: Bobby (Linda) Kirk; and sister: Mary Opal (Franklin) Buttram.
He was a loving husband, father and grandfather and will be missed by all.
