James Webb

Funeral services for Mr. James Dinnard Webb were held Sunday, June 3, 2012, at 2 p.m. from Dansby Heritage Chapel with burial in Community Congregational Holiness Church Cemetery. Danny Jeffers officiated. Mr. Webb, 78, of Jacksonville, passed away on Friday, June 1, 2012. He was a member of the Community Congregational Holiness Church, was a Korean War veteran serving in the U.S. Army as a paratrooper, and was retired from Southern Ready Mix. Mr. Webb had worked as a security officer at various banks and had worked for the Calhoun County Sheriff’s Department where he was known as "Squatlow". Survivors include his wife, Vera M. Webb; sons, James Michael Webb, Ronnie Lee Webb, Donnie D. Webb, Greg McGinnis, and Randy McGinnis; daughters, Deborah Pearson and Karen Holbrook; sister, Gloria Jean Haynes; nine grandchildren and two great-grandchildren. Dansby Heritage Chapel is honored to have served the Webb Family.
