James Curtis Trotter

MEMORIAL SERVICE WILL BE HELD SATURDAY, JANUARY 27, 2024 at 12:00 PM from Dansby Heritage Chapel with Visitation from 11 AM until funeral time.

JAMES  CURTIS TROTTER, 62, of Talladega, passed away suddenly on Wednesday, December 20, 2023.  Born in Piedmont to Charles Fulton and Mary Lois Morgan Trotter, Sr., who preceded him in death, he was a loving and supportive husband to Janice Cox Trotter for forty years on December 23 .                                                                                              

He was employed by HON in Cedartown, GA. He was also a loving father, grandfather, son and brother.  He enjoyed coaching baseball and softball when his children were younger, loved Alabama football and fishing.                                                                        

He is survived by his wife, Janice; son: Cody Wayne Trotter; daughter: Ashley Elizabeth (Shane) Both; brother: Charles (Cindy) Trotter, Jr.; sisters: Kris (Tim) Shaw and Lisa (Tim) Preuss; granddaughter: Lylah Jane Both; and several nieces and nephews.
