Jackie W. Lewis

Jackie W. Lewis, 90, of Bradenton, FL passed away peacefully at Tidewell, Inc. in Bradenton on Saturday, September 16, 2023. He was born in Piedmont, AL to Warren Sebastian and Annie Belle Allred Lewis, who preceded him in death. 

After graduation, he joined the United States Air Force and proudly served his country, earning the rank of SSG. He held a bachelor’s degree and became an electrical engineer for NASA, living in Bradenton from 1993 until his death.  He was of the Baptist Faith and was married to the love of his life, Edna Faye Garmon Lewis, for 66 years and 9 months. They were the proud parents of one daughter, Monica Lynn Lewis, who also lives in Florida.

A private graveside service will be held in Highland Cemetery in the Lewis Family plot.  Friends may leave condolences to the family at dansbyhc.com.
