Funeral Services for Mrs. Flora Inez Swindle will be held Thursday, May 15, 2014 at 11:00 a.m. from Dansby Heritage Chapel with visitation from 10- 11:00 a.m. Burial will be in Greenlawn Cemetery in Jacksonville. Rev. Truman Norred officiating.
Ms Swindle, 94, a lifetime resident of Jacksonville and housewife, passed away on Monday, May 12, 2014 at Jacksonville Health and Rehab.
Inez was a long time member of West Side Baptist Church where for many years she served the church with her many talents. She had many positions throughout her years at the church
She was know as a very unselfish lady. Having no biological children of her own she raised and influenced many children throughout her life time. She taught piano lessons to her nieces and nephews.
Predeceased by her parents: Linder "Doc" and Annie Jane Hill Beal; husband: James Swindle; brothers, Horace, Morris, and Hubert; sisters, Sara Beal Parris, Willie Maude Beal Black.
She is survived by her brother: Tempie Beal; sister in law: Ottie Beal; and several nieces and nephews.
Flowers are accepted or contributions sent in her memory to Westside Baptist Church in Jacksonville.
