May 6, 1941 — February 8, 2018
GLORIA V. THOMPSON, 76, of Piedmont, passed away on Thursday, February 8, 2018 at Gadsden Regional Medical Center. Born in Gadsden to Virgil J. and Evelyn Walls Wilemon, she was a truck driver for Osborn for several years. She was a member of Piedmont Congregational Methodist Church.
She was preceded in death by her parents; husband: Thomas Wayne Thompson; daughter: Dawn Law; and grandson: Jeremy McCurdy.
She is survived by her son: Michael Thompson; daughter: Katlyn McCurdy; grandsons: Jonathon (Jessica) McCurdy and Jake (Kristina) Burge; great grandsons: Tristan McCurdy and Zebulon McCurdy; great grand-daughter: Ashlynn Chapman; and brother: Patrick (Diane) Wilemon.
Funeral services will be held on Saturday, February 10, 2018 at 2:00 PM from Dansby Heritage Chapel with visitation Friday, February 9 from 6-8 PM. Burial will be in Piedmont Memory Garden.
