Glen Davis,

GLEN GILBERT DAVIS, Jr. (RET) , 72 of Jacksonville, AL passed away on Monday, October 8, 2018 at RMC Anniston.  He was born in San Luis Obispo, CA to Glen Gilbert and Myrtle Boling Davis, Sr.  He was preceded in death by his parents; one son, George Davis;  and 4 siblings.                   He proudly served in the US Army for 21 years, serving two tours in Vietnam, then spent 20 years with the Department of Defense as a Police Officer. He earned a bachelor’s degree in criminal justice.   He was one who enjoyed tinkering, building and fixing things.                                                           He is survived by his wife:  Cheryl Sharp Davis; son: Glen Davis, III; daughter: Christine Gehlker; and several grandchildren.                                         His cremains will be interred in  Alabama National Cemetery in Montevallo, AL on Friday, October 12 at 12:30 PM  with full military honors.                     Dansby Heritage Chapel is honored to serve the Davis Family.
