Gerald Martin

Gerald "Nabe" Martin, age 75 of Jacksonville, passed away Tuesday November 27, 2018, at Gadsden Regional. He was born in Piedmont and served his country in the US Army.  He worked as an auto paint and body person. He was preceded in death by his parents Thomas Harold and Josephine Martin.

Visitation will be Friday November, 30, 2018, at Dansby Heritage Chapel from 1:00 pm until 2:00 pm. Funeral services will begin at 2:00 pm, with Bro. Garry Brown officiating. Interment will follow at Highland Cemetery with Dusty Bryan, Tristan Tidwell, Asher McFry, Johnny Parker, Johnny Knight, and Bradlee Strickland serving as pallbearers.

Mr. Martin is survived by his wife, Carol Martin; children: Terri (Robbie) Strickland,  Bridgette "Micki" Tidwell, Carol Ann McFry, Edette Pierce, Luey (Angela) Santas, and Eddie (Lindsey) Santas; grandchildren, Tristan and Jordann Tidwell, Britney Hogue, Cheyanne Barnwell, Chrissy and Asher McFry, Bradlee and Leslee Strickland, Abigail, Josiah, Eliana, Jonathan, Elijah, and Sage Pierce; 6 great grandchildren; and special nieces, Tonya Hedgepeth, and Sabrina Hicks.
