Gaines "Boots" Bramlett, 88, of Piedmont, passed away Friday, December 5, 2025. Funeral services will be held Wednesday, December 10th, with visitation at 11:00 AM, the service following at 1:00 PM at Dansby Heritage Chapel with Military- Honored interment to follow in Gnatville Cemetery.
Visitation for immediate family will be held on the same day at 10:00 AM, with visitation for church family following at 10:30 AM. Rev. Greg Thurman will officiate the services. He was a member of Plainview Congregational Holiness Church and proudly served 32 years in the United States Army National Guard.
He was preceded in death by his wife of 54 years, Eloise Bramlett; his parents, Earl and Dorothy (Chandler) Bramlett; and siblings Sandra Garner, Larry Bramlett, Judy Ann Bramlett, Orville Bramlett, and Gaithern Bramlett.
Survivors include his daughter: Lisa Bramlett (Michael) O'Connor, sons: Donald Bramlett and Ricky Bramlett, grandchildren: Stephanie (Derek) Stone, Leila (Jeffery) Reaves, Mandi (Chris) Cloud, Tia (Matt) Stambaugh, Alaura Bramlett, Kyle (Marissa) Hinds, Christy Bramlett, Ashley (Nick) Cobb, and Lori Parker; 21 great-grandchildren, 1 great-great grandchild, brother: Jerry Bramlett, sisters: Patricia (Kenneth) Getsinger, Joyce Bounds, and Peggy Haggard, and numerous nieces and nephews.
Pallbearers will be: Kyle Hinds, Richard Hinds, Matthew Hinds, Nick Cobb, Justin Cobb, and Mark Daversa.
The family would like to give special thanks to SpecialCare New Beacon Hospice.
