Frances Louise LePortier

Frances Louise LePortier moved to her heavenly home on Thursday, September 11, 2014. Louise graduated from Cedartown High School in 1955. She attended Berry College and the Washington School of Art. She is a granddaughter of a Confederate Soldier and served as President to the United Daughters of the Confederacy, Agnes Lee Chapter for four years. She was a member of the Grand Jurors Association. She retired from Fisher Scientific in 1993 and in 2006 became the Ministry Assistant at Valley Brook Baptist Church. Louise was married to Charles J. Waites, Sr. of Cedartown. She is survived by her two sons, Charles Johnny (Chuck) Waites, Jr. and Cason (Chip) Jeffrey Waites; her two daughters-in-law, Linda and Cecilia Waites; seven grandchildren, Bethany, Corey, Jordan, Cole, Anna, Chandler and Megan Waites. Funeral service in Alabama will be at 1:00 pm CST/2:00 EST at Arrington Chapel Baptist Church 795 County Rd. 181 Piedmont, AL 36272, with burial in the adjoining cemetery.
