DORIS MARIE FAULKNER Ledbetter, 76, of Anniston, passed away on Friday, Sept. 9, 2016 at RMC Anniston. She was born in Piedmont, Calhoun Co, AL to James Marion and Ethel Ola Smith and was a member of Hillcrest Baptist Church. She was employed with Blue Mountain Cotton Mill and later as a sales clerk at The Museum Store.
She was preceded in death by her parents: brother: Leon Smith; and sisters: Lillian Smith, Amy Smith, and Pluma Conner.
Survivors include her daughter, Donna Payne and son in law, Beaver; Sisters: Dorothy Renfroe, Alma Whisenant, Helen Spoon, and Mamie Wallace; husband: Wendell Ledbetter; and several nieces and nephews.
Graveside services will be held Sunday, September 11, 2016 at 4:00 PM from Highland Cemetery with Rick Reaves officiating.
Pallbearers will be Johnny Renfroe, Jimmy Whisenant, Rickey Whisenant, Michael Wallace, Huey Wayne Conner, and Johnny Latham.
Dansby Heritage Chapel is honored to serve the Ledbetter Family.
