Donnie Oswalt

DONNIE RANDAL OSWALT, 66, of Anniston passed away on Thursday, May 21, 2015 at Nolan Clinic in Anniston.  Born in Piedmont, he was the general manager of the State ABC Store for years.  He was an avid sportsman, loved motorcycles and was a basketball referee.  Many will remember him for his love for life;  laughing and joking.   He was preceded in death by his parents:  Harvey Edward and Lillian Estelle Davis Oswalt.                                                                                                                                                    He is survived by his wife: Karen Brewer Cofield; brother: Jerry (Glenda) Oswalt of Glencoe; sister in law:  Fairria Oswalt of Oxford, and Pam (Tommy) Gaines of Heflin; and many nieces and nephews.                      A private, graveside committal service was held Friday, May 29 at 11:00 a.m. in Highland Cemetery with Rev. Ashley Penton officiating.                                                   Dansby Heritage Chapel is honored to serve the Oswalt Family.
