Debra Lou Murphy

DEBRA LOU MURPHY, 67, of Piedmont, passed away on Friday, 18, 2025, at NE AL Regional Medical Center in Anniston following a brief illness. Born in Piedmont, AL, she was the daughter of Thomas and Mary Lillian Surrett Motes.

She was employed at several local factories as a seamstress. She was preceded in death by her parents and most recently by her daughter, Amy Motes.

She is survived by her son: Jason (Angela) Motes and grandchildren: Hailey and Nathan Motes.

There will be no services at this time.
