Davon Waldrep

DAVON “Shorty” WALDREP, 47, of Elmore, AL passed away on Saturday October 6, 2018 from injuries sustained while being a “Good Samaritan”.  He was born in Guntersville, AL to Harvey Lavon and Jean Bryan Waldrep, who both preceded him in death.  He served in the US ARMY in the first Gulf War and was a mechanic.

He is survived by his two brothers: Gary Douglas Waldrep of Chicago, IL and Dale (Christina) Waldrep of New Braunfels, TX; nephew: Timothy Alexander Waldrep; niece: Jessica Jalynn Fay Waldrep; and a special mother, Dean Beecham.

Funeral Service will be held Thursday, October 11, 2018 at 11:00 a.m. from Dansby Heritage Chapel with Rev. Justin Beecham officiating.   Visitation will be from 10-11 a.m. at Dansby Heritage Chapel.
