Crista Nicole Matthews, 22, passed away on Friday, Aug. 28, 2015 at UAB. Funeral service will
be held Sunday, August 30, 2015, at 2 P.M. with visitation from 12 p.m. until service time at
Dansby Heritage Chapel. Burial will follow in Piedmont Memory Garden.
She was employed as a CNA at Piedmont Health Care and a member of Piedmont First Baptist Church.
She is survived by her husband, Zach Matthews; parents, Ricky Kingrey and Susan Anderson;
grandmother: Blond Kingrey; daughters, Kenzleigh and Paisleigh Matthews; brother, Trevor Anderson; sister, Brittney Garcia; several aunts and uncles and two nephews, Tres and Luke.
In lieu of flowers the family requests memorials to St. Jude Children’s Hospital.
Pallbearers: Blake Morrison, Cale Morrison, Jeff Smith, Larry Cothran, Josh Cothran, and Jesse Smith. Honorary Pallbearers: Class of 2011 Piedmont High School and employees of Piedmont Health Care.
