April 11, 1992 — March 17, 2022
Christie Leighann Bishop, 29, of Piedmont, passed away suddenly on Thursday, March 17, 2022 at her residence. Born in Anniston, Calhoun Co., AL to Doug Welch and Janice Abernathy Welch, she was a devoted homemaker and wife. She was of the Baptist Faith and diligently read and studied her Bible.
She is survived by her loving husband, John Cody Bishop; maternal grandmother: Elaine Abernathy; father: Doug (Zena) Welch; mother: Janice (Barry) Brown; in laws: Vicky Bishop and Wesley (Lynn) Bishop; brother: Greg (Danielle) Welch; sisters: Michelle Welch and April (Joe) Westbrook; sister in law: Taylor Flowers; and nieces and nephews: Owen, Evan, Gus, Serenity, and Harley.
A Private Memorial Service will be held Thursday, March 24, at 2:00 p.m. from Dansby Heritage Chapel.
Dansby Heritage Chapel is honored to serve the Bishop Family.
