Charlotte Bates Cuthbert

CHARLOTTE BATES CUTHBERT, 85, of Piedmont, passed away Wednesday, May 13, 2015 at her residence.  Born in Calhoun Co., AL to Joseph Thomas and Ola Howell Bartlett, she retired from SCT Mills and was           of the Methodist Faith. She was preceded in death by her parents; two husbands:  Ed Bates and Gordon Cuthbert; brother: Joe Henry Bartlett; and daughter: Brenda Brooks.                                                  She is survived by daughter: Cheryl Bates; grandchildren: Rebecca Sharek and Jonathan Greenleaf;      and great grandchildren: Emily Sharek, William Sharek, and Brendan Greenleaf.                              Memorial Services will be held Sunday, May 17 at 2:00 PM at Dansby Heritage Chapel with visitation from 12- 2 PM. Rev. Garry Brown and Rev. Gary Black will officiate.                                                              In lieu of flowers, the family requests memorials to Piedmont Rescue Squad, PO Box 333, Piedmont, AL 36272                                                                                                                                            Dansby Heritage Chapel is honored to serve the Bates Family.
