Carl Robbins, Sr.

Mr. Carl Wain Robbins, Sr., 77 of Piedmont  passed away on Tuesday, December 23, 2014 at Redmond Hospital in Rome, GA.
Mr. Robbins served 11 years in the Army National Guard and retired from General Motors.
He was born in Hartsell, AL to Eugene and Charlotta Viola Hughes Robbins, who preceded him in death.
He is survived by his wife, Sue Peoples Robbins; 3 sons:  Carl Wain Robbins, Jr., James Allen Robbins, and Robert E. (Michelle) Robbins; 2 daughters: Cynthia Ann (John) Cardwell and April Lynn (Joe) Garner; brother: Richard Robbins; sister: Martha Chesser;  grandchildren: Beth, Chris and Samantha Cardwell, Brad and William Robbins, Tessie and Josh Robbins, Lane and Mikie Garner, Matthew and Hayden Robbins; and great grandchildren: Tristan, Zander, Jessie, Kelsey, Chloe, Karsen, Kipton, Seth, Chloe, Madisyn, Peyton, Logan, Collin, Adam, Jackson and Sahra.
Funeral services will be held Sunday, Dec. 28, 2014 at 1:00  PM from Dansby Heritage Chapel with
burial to follow in Cherokee Memory Garden in Centre. Visitation will be Saturday from 6-8 PM at the funeral home.
Dansby Heritage Chapel is honored to serve the Robbins Family.
