Bonnie Keenum

BONNIE FAYE McCAFFREY KEENUM, 85, of Jacksonville, passed away on Tuesday, February 7, 2017 at her residence.  She was  a member of West Side Congregational Holiness Church where she was active in Women’s Ministry and a seamstress for 38 years in area textile plants.  She was preceded in death by her parents: Ambrose and Ella McCaffrey Parris; son in law: Herbert Hoover Batey; and two brothers: Larry & Lamar Parris.
She is survived by her loving husband of 69 years, Rev. W.C. “Dub” Keenum; son: Rev. Roger (Betty) Keenum; daughter: Connie Batey;  7 grandchildren; 21 great grandchildren; 19 great, great grandchildren; and numerous nieces,  nephews and friends.
Funeral Service will be Friday, February 10 at 7:00 p.m. from Tredegar Congregational Holiness Church in Jacksonville with visitation from 5:30 p.m. until service time.  Burial will be Saturday, February 11 at 11:00 a.m. in Hillcrest Cemetery in Jacksonville.   Pallbearers will be Jerry Anderson, Hoyt Turner,  Brent Barger, Bradley Williams, Eric Turner, and Ted McDowell. Honorary Pallbearers will be Brian Moss and Brent Barger.
