Betty Lawler

BETTY JO LAWLER, 85 of Piedmont, passed away peacefully on Friday, December 30, 2016 in the home where she was born. She was a member of Piedmont First Congregational Methodist Church and was employed with Piedmont Hospital, The Piedmont Journal, and GMAC . She was preceded in death by her husband, Charlie Lawler and son, Robert Charles Lawler.
Survivors include her sons: Clifford Lawler and Scott Lawler, both of Piedmont; brother: Brent Thacker; grandsons: Shane Lawler, Brandon Lawler, Matt Lawler, and Zach Hughes; and great grandsons: Gavin Lawler, John Hilyer Hughes, Will Hughes, and Charlie Hughes.
Funeral services will be held Sunday, January 1, 2017 at 2:00 PM from Dansby Heritage Chapel with interment to follow in Piedmont Memory Garden. Visitation will be Sunday from 12 – 2 PM. Rev. Charles Thomas will officiate.
