Betty Ford

BETTY BEATRICE FORD, 95, of Piedmont, passed away on Wednesday, November 2, 2016.  She was preceded in death by her husband, Fred L. Ford; two sons: Lyn Ford and Doug “Red” Ford; granddaughters:  Rhonda Lee Ford McFry  and Alana Grant.                                                                                                                                  She is survived by daughters of her heart:  Sherry (Ray) Fagan and Sandy Ford; daughter in law: Pam Ford; brother: Howard (Betty Joyce) Brown; grandchildren: Tony Ford, Sherry Lynn Ford, Michael (Christy) Ford, and Dale Grant; six great grandchildren:  Matt Ford, Derek (Ali) McFry, Colton Ford, Jacob Ford, Braden Ford, and Jacee Ford; and great, great grandchildren: Emery McFry and Anna Ford.                                                                                                                                       Ms Ford loved to cook and have people brag on her homemade biscuits and fried chicken.   She loved working in the yard and quilting.  A favorite memory was when she was 85 and was fighting a fire in her yard.
Services will be held Friday, November 4 at 2 PM from Dansby Heritage Chapel with Pastor Rick Blythe officiating with visitation from 12- 2 PM.  Burial will follow in Goshen Cemetery.                                                                                                       Dansby Heritage Chapel is honored to serve the Ford Family.
