Barbara Jane Pruitt

PRUITT, Barbara Jane, 64 of Pleasant Valley, passed away on Wednesday, June 20, 2018, at her home.

She was a graduate of Walter Wellborn High School and spent the remainder of her life caring for her family. She was a beloved wife, mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother.

Mrs. Pruitt was preceded in death by her parents, John Blount Turner and Melba Estelle Goss Turner.

She is survived by her husband, Jimmy Wayne Pruitt; son, Brian Christopher Pruitt (Christine); daughter, Shawna Beadles; grandchildren, Amber Lashae Alexander, Autumn Elizabeth Pruitt, Ashton Brylee Pruitt, Hunter Beadles, and Logan Tyler Beadles; great-grandchildren, Kirstyn and Scarlett Alexander; and sister, Linda Carol Wood.

Graveside services will be held at 2:30 PM on Friday, June 22, 2018, at Gnatville Cemetery. Pastor Tim Wells will officiate.

Pallbearers will be Logan Beadles, Hunter Beadles, Nicholas Pruitt, Reagan King, Brian Boozer and Ethan Beadles.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital, Memorial and Honor Gifts, P.O. Box 1000, Dept. 142, Memphis, TN 38148-0142.
