Barbara Stephens

BARBARA SUE STEPHENS, 58, of Piedmont, passed away peacefully at home on Monday, November 7, 2016.  Born in Washington State, she was the daughter of Henry Earl and Bonnie Lou Trimmer Guthrie, who preceded her in death. A sister, Candy Ann Simpson, also preceded her in death. She was a nurse’s aide, a resident of Piedmont for 22 ½ years, and a member of Dailey Street Baptist Church.                                                                                                    She is survived by her loving husband of 41 years, Ron Stephens; 2 sons:  Ron Stephens, II, and Zechariah Stephens; three daughters:  Bobbie Jo Guthrie, Ronica Sue Blair, and Rhodia Lee Anning; two sisters:  Bonnie Lou Torres and Billy Guthrie Barr; brother:  Henry Edward Guthrie; 15 grandchildren and 1 great grandchild.                                                                                                                                                                            As per her request, Mrs. Stephens was cremated and there will be no services.                                         Dansby Heritage Chapel is honored to serve the Stephens Family.
