Barbara Cromer

August 6, 1951 — May 19, 2014

Barbara Ann Cromer passed away on Monday, May 19, 2014 at her residence. She was born in Calhoun County to Thomas Edward and Farris Evelyn Wood Bryan and, except for 8 months, lived her life in Calhoun County.  She was a dispatcher for the City of Piedmont Police Department and member of Nances Creek Congregational Holiness Church.
Funeral Services will be Wednesday, May 21 at 11:00 a.m. from Dansby Heritage Chapel with burial in Nances Creek Cemetery.  Visitation will be Tuesday, May 20 from 6-8 p.m. at the funeral home. Revs.   Wayne Smith and Floyd Willis will officiate.  Pallbearers will be Aaron Ponder, Hugh Ponder, Nathan Johnson, Don Glover, Steven Tidwell, and Phillip Winkle. Honorary Pallbearers will be members of the Piedmont Police Department, Rescue Squad and Fire Department.         Survivors include her husband: Ronald Cromer; son: Thomas Mason Cromer (Kimberly Michelle); 3 daughters: Felicia Diane Meraz (Rogelio), Cassie Lynette O’Dell (Nickey), and Katresa Dawn Ingram (Jarrod); brother: James Earl Bryan; sisters: Dean Beecham, Lucy Bryan, and Sally Beecham; grandchildren: Shanea Brooke Roszell, Nikki Shea Cromer, Adyson Miranda Betz, Caleb James Cromer, Alexander Ian Meraz, Joseph Salome Meraz, Mario Jesus Meraz, Dakota Colby Doss, Alisha Nicole Smith, Amanda Elizabeth O’Dell, Nicholas Cole O’Dell, Jakob Noah O’Dell, Morgan Ashley Rochester, Matthew Hunter O’Dell, Cheyenne Annette Cunningham, and Victoria Hope Ingram; and great grandchildren: Trenton Allen Roszell and Briggs Cannon Meraz.
