Amber Steed

AMBER MARIE STEED, 36, of Piedmont, passed away on Sunday, June 14, 2015 at Grady Memorial Hospital in Atlanta, GA.  Born in Calhoun Co., AL to Troy and Judy Goss Steed, she loved fishing, hanging with friends, and crocheting.    She was preceded in death by her paternal grandfather,  Hubert Steed, and maternal grandfather, William Goss.                                                                                                            Funeral Service will be Wednesday, June 17 at 2:00 PM from Dansby Heritage Chapel with Rev. John Cole and Rev. Floyd Willis officiating.  Burial will follow in Nances Creek Cemetery.  Visitation will be  held Tuesday, June 16 from 6-8 PM at the funeral home.                                                                                                                                      She is survived by her parents; children: Levi Wood and Reagen Wood; brother:  Stacy (Rose) Steed; paternal grandmother: Hazel Steel; maternal grandmother:  Myrtis Goss; and numerous aunts, uncles and cousins.
Pallbearers will be Joshua Goss, Jacob Goss, Joey Harrell, Marty Harrell, Wesley Steed, Cody Steed,Tim Steed, Cisco Fagan, Chisom Fagan, Michelle Fortenberry, Christy Steed, and Sara Goss.                                                                                                                                                           Dansby Heritage Chapel is honored to serve the Steed Family.
